Being used to Windows 7 OS, I have always used the Windows Easy Transfer flawlessly. A few months back I upgraded to Windows 8.1 and everything worked fine except for a few software compatibility issues. The problem came when I wanted to migrate my data using Windows Easy Transfer to another Windows 8.1 machine. I cannot see the option of saving the files to a USB, transferring using cables, or a network transfer. How do I transfer files from one Windows 8.1 machine to another?????

only can be backup at external Media not PC to PC.

I would suggest manual backup if your data can be backup to external HDD

I am afraid Windows Easy Transfer is not available to backup files in Windows 8.1, to transfer files between Windows 8.1, please consider to use OneDrive or manually transfer files using external storage  devices.
