Windows Domain with Windows Store

Hello,

How is everyone getting along with using Windows Store in conjunction with Domain Accounts?

I have a Windows 8 Laptop to deploy (for a home user) and certain applications (such a Skype) seem to require use of the App store (rather than the traditional "desktop" application).

I was actually intending to disable the app store using group policy, but that doesn't look as though it is going to be practical...

Is the accepted "best practice" to set each user up with their own "Store Account" and take things from there? Also, it seems that apps are installed on an individual user basis. So, I can't deploy these in advance (as with a traditional application).

I feel as though I'm answering my own questions, but maybe someone (who is a little further down the road) could offer some insight. Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards, Stephen

I've been waiting for MS to announce some form of federation opportunity for Windows Store (like that offered with O365)
I'm soon to start playing with Win8.1 in our enterprise, so I'm hopeful that there will be some fruitful advantages in that, but if not, the answer from back here is likely unchanged (essentially, no dice):

Hi Don,

Many thanks. That thread makes for rather depressing reading.
