Windows Desktop Gadgets Not Working
Hi! A few days ago, Adobe Flash and Reader asked me to update, so thats what I did. Flash had asked me to restart and so I did. Once my Windows 7 computer booted up, as the programs were loading, a small windows popped up and said that windows desktop gadgets has stopped working, and then it said, windows is checking for a solution. Close Program. Since then every time I launch the gadgets application, that's what it says, although it does show the gadgets until i click close program. Any help please?! -Windows 7 Home Premium, 2.8 GHz Dual-Core, 4 Gadgets installed: Clock, Weather, Calender, and one third-party one. Thanks!

Any help please?! please download this reg file from my SkyDrive: http://cid-128fc518635be2dc.office.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/MS%20Foren/Registry/LocalDumps.reg and make a double click on the file to import it. When an application crashes, Windows Error Reporting Service [1] creates a dmp file under C:\Localdumps. Please upload the dump (zip it first) to your public Skydrive [2] folder and post the link here. I take a look at the dump with the Debugger, maybe I can see the cause. You use the IE9 RC. Does it happen too if you remove the IE9 RC? If not, it's a IE9 bug. Submit the bug with the Feedback tool."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

I would like a solution to this. The gadgets disappear when IE9 RC is installed. Removing it, and reverting to the previous beta, restores the gadgets (64 bit system). If, when no gadgets appear, I ask windows to add a clock (by typing in gadgets to the start bar and chosing add desktop clock) all my gadgets very breifly appear before windows announces gadgets have stopped working, check on line for a solution, etc. If you use the debugger, it says 'an unhandled win32 exception occured in sidebar.exe [7164]."
