Has the Windows Defender tool Software Explorer been removed in the Windows 7 version of Windows Defender? Thanks Bob

Thanks Picsoe, I can find Window Defender with not problem but once I open Windows Defender and then go to the Tools option I no longer see the option for the "Software Explorer" tool. Bob

Withsoftware explorer in Vista you can view running programs, startup types, etc. Unfortunately Software Explorer was removed from Defender in Windows 7. Microsoft MVP - Group Policy

Yes. I do believe that it was removed. For what reason, I don't know.
