Windows Defender popup to turn on
When I boot my computer for the first time, I see a brief pop up in the task bar to turn on Windows Defender. It is turned on. Anyone else seeing this? Using 64 bit btw.It seems to me whatever service is checking for status, it is happening way too fast before it has a chance to load.

What are the specs of your system? I've seen this on underpowered systems and VMware versions.

My specs are Intel Core 2 6600 2.4ghz, 4 gigs of RAM, 1066 FSB and Nvidia 9800GT video card etc. Don't think this is an underpowered thing...

Same problem here with very similar system specs. After booting there's a brief warning that Defender is not turned on. By the time I try to do something about it Defender has usually started. It also triggers an error state on Windows Home Server, and thus all my machines in the house know I didn't have Defender running for about 30 seconds.Very annoying! :P

Ignore it. I also use the 64bit version and in a few seconds the popup dissapears as the windows defender starts up.
