Computer was shutting down with Blue Screen of Death and restarting.

Ran Microsoft Security Essentials.

It asked to download to CD and run Windows Defender offline.

Booted from CD and Windows Defender did a scan and finished with Red screen saying computer is infected.

Unfortunately both keyboard and mouse are disabled so its impossible to hit return or move cursor to allow it to continue the scan.

Because your PC might be infected by some virus, I suggest backup your data first

regarding removing virus, I suggest do it in safe mode. Scan from save mode

Some virus maybe infected your registry, so after you make sure no virus please run sfc to check whether some registry broken and update your windows for windows defender security
