Windows Defender deployment & download security alert
Is (Windows Defender) compatible with (Microsoft Security Essentials)? I know both of these programs operate with (update definitions). My anti-virus (subscription) will make (3) programs I have installed, for (malware, spyware & virus) on the PC. Should I (disable) Windows defender while updating (Microsoft Security Essentials) for operating ? I have reports of possible (conflictions), when (2) or more anti-virus programs are installed. Also: Theres my (download security alert). I've had to cancel (2) important downloads with common sense, when Microsoft Security Essentials ''detects'' a incoming trojan with a download in progress. My count with (Trojan:JS/Redirector.JA) is now (98) attacks to date, with (no-end) in sight. I already have to watch the PC system, of the ''slightest'' deviation from stablility. Lee Payne

1. Windows Defender is default soolution that is disabled after installation od Microsoft Security Essentials. This would be automatic process. 2. Here is the nevest information on this virus including all necessary measures http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/Threat/Encyclopedia/Entry.aspx?Name=Trojan:JS/Redirector.JA Regards Milos
