Windows Contacts : Import from CSV files - birthdays are not imported
I have tried to import contacts from cvs files that contain birthdays and anniversaries. These birthdays and anniversaries are not imported into the Windows contacts. That is because the mapping fields are very limited in the Windows Contact Import possibilities. This is a real shortcoming !

Hello Sabrina I import my contacts from a CSV file made on my Windows Live Contacts web site. This file has the birtday field amongst many other fields. When I start the importation in Windows Contacts, I get a window in which I can indicate the fields that I want to import - Birthday is not selected by default - so I select it myself. - Now I get another window that asks with what field I want to map the Birthday - but Birthday is not included in the choice list There is another problem with this importation as well: All the characters such as é è ç à become a once imported into Windows Contacts - there is some text encoding mismatch. Thanks for your help
