Windows CE 6.0 on netbook - cannot get on internet w/wifi or w/sprint aircard.
I bought a 7" netbook that has Windows CE 6.0 OS. I cannot get onto internet w/this OS at the free wifi places (like McDonald's). Also, having trouble finding an aircard (mobile broadband card) that is compatible w/this OS. My cellular provider is Sprint, & they don't have one. Any ideas or suggestions (of a constructive nature, please). Do you know of another aircard, wifi device that I could use to access internet? Thanks.

I looked for a networking forum under Windows CE 6.0 on the Windows site, but could only access XP, Vista, & Windows 7 forums.

I looked for a networking forum under Windows CE 6.0 on the Windows site, but could only access XP, Vista, & Windows 7 forums.Ditto. AFAIK, there aren't any Windows CE-specific in Answers forums. And I couldn't find anything other than Developer-specific forums inMicrosoft forums (e.g.,http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/windowsembeddedcompact;http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsmobiledev/threads).Perhaps the manufucturer provides appropriate Community forums for device users? In any event, this really doesn't have anything to do with Internet Explorer. Yeah, I got conned into buying a 'Windows CE' netbook as well. As far as I can tell MS is distancing itself from CE as there is no support for it by manufacturers - I tried to find a Mobile Broadband USB stick for it but failed; its now a paperweight :-(Even this thread has been put into an 'XP' forum as there is no CE forum....

Did you ever get a solution to this problem...I just had the exact same thing happen. We took it out of town and I tried to connect at the hotel..never worked. Now it won't work at home either....it used to though.
