Windows Backup Doesn't
Every time I use Windows backup and give the backup a name it keeps coming up with the drive letter and tells me The backup file name could not be usedD:\curtisPlease ensure it is a valid path, and you have sufficient access.How do I just name it without the drive letter

You have to supply a valid path and a name. Are you trying to send the backup to the root folder of the D: drive or are you trying to send it to the D:\curtis folder? It sounds like the D:\curtis folder exists and that you are not giving the backup an actual name. If you are sending it to a folder you have to give a name to the backup, like so: D:\curtis\BackUpName.If there is a D:\curtis folder in the root and if you want to send the backup file to the root of the drive and use the same name as an existing folder the then you have to differentiate the file and give it a proper extension, like so: D:\curtis.bkfJohn
