Did you installed some Virtual cd program (Daemon Tools, Alchol, etc) ? Try to uninstall it and rerun the activation process.Adriano Arrigo MVP Windows Desktop Experience ITALY

Most often, this is caused by mis-reading the Product Key. For example, there is no capital I, or O, those are One and Zero.Rating posts helps other users Mark L. Ferguson MS-MVP

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft activation servers were overloaded and simply can't handle the traffic that must be going on at this time. I had an error activating yesterday, repeating the exact same procedure a couple of minutes later resulted in a working activation.

Agreed with Both of the above. Check your key to make sure it's accurate (and that you wrote it down originally, easiest way is to just copy paste it in, but that's just me) and also the activation servers are getting hammered pretty hard too. Try again in the evening after all the IT guys have gone home for the day ;)

Thanks a lot for help.I was quite accurate while ctrl+c & ctrl+v key, so it wasn't a problem)A real one was hidden in cd emulation tools as Adriano suggested.I uninstalled of deamon tools and virtual clone drive and voila the baby runs!Hmm. Problem looks really strange after all... Does any driver from emulator harm activation system of Windows 7, or trick is in something else?..
