Windows 8 x64, RDC / Remote Desktop App will not Launch/Start

I cannot really help you with the metro version of remote desktop, but the older Desktop remote desktop is still there, just go to the start screen and type mstsc and you'll be able to paste it to the start screen, the taskbar, or launch it like that.

Ended up doing a clean install and just wiping both my OS drive and storage drive. But just in case anyone wants to think further into it, that actually wasn't working either. Had gone into system32 to find the executable, tried deleting the sys file and reboot for a fresh regenerated version. My bet is on some sort of OS corruption.

Thank you though for the response, appreciate the help!
