Windows 8 will not accept the win8.1 upgrade button offer
I have windows 8 Hp notebook and im trying to upgrade to 8.1  it takes me to the page with the app 8.1 and says click here and will take you to the store.  It takes me to the store but there is nothing there.  It says troubleshoot, then it does nothing.  any suggestions on what in the world this notebook may need before it will accept the 8.1 upgrade, which is to be Free?  Remember, this is an original 8.0 windows computer that does not even read disc or anything.  HELPPPPP!  Thank you.  I cannot WAIT to get my start - regular - old fashion menu back....along with other valuable attributes!

Hi,

Please also make sure that you current system is up to date.

To avoid unexpected failure, please confirm there is no folder redirected on your user profile.

You can also run wsreset.exe to clear Store catch to see if you can find the 8.1 in Windows Store.
