Windows 8 not detecting front 2 USB ports

I Switched my windows 7 OS with windows 8 OS.My system has totally 6 USB ports(4ports at back and 2 ports in front). My system is presently working with dual Operating systems(Windows 8 and Ubuntu). After installing Windows 8 OS on windows 7 the 2 USBs which are located at the front panel are not working(only on windows 8). USB is getting detected only when front USBs are connected at the booting position. And this works till the system goes shutdown. If the  front USBs are not connected at the boot position, those 2 USB ports located at the front panel are not getting detected. The 4 USB ports located at back panel(connected with motherboard) are always working with no problems. Only the front 2 USB ports are not working properly.

We tried with some solutions available on Microsoft forums like uninstalling all USB ports and restarting PC. This worked for the next instance of restart but later its continuing the same problem.

As I tested with all sources, finally I came to know that its a problem in windows 8 kernel. In the present OS Ubuntu and previous OS windows 7 all the USB ports are working properly with no errors.

Here are the details what I find from Event Viewer on my PC for this particular USB ports.

There are two steps that may be missing:

1. Chipset driver installation just after vanilla plain installation of operating system

2. USB version 3 installation.

Try to compare detailes for USB in Device Manager. You may be surprized.

Block automatic installation of drivers

I tried with what you suggested me. I blocked the installation of kernel-mode printer drivers by clicking Enable option. But the same error is continuing.

Thanks for your reply and need your assistance until this problem is rectified.

Have you tried to delete the driver from Device Manager?

Meanwhile, you can refer to these articles.

I tried with uninstall that particular USB storage device and also all USB ports and restarted my computer. It worked only for that particular instance but not further.  Computer is detecting the front 2 USB ports only at the time of restart but not at the time of shutdown and for restart also In the front 2 USB ports at least 1 port should be connected, otherwise the USB ports doesn't works. The 4 USB ports in the back panel are working good even after shutdown. The problem is only with the front 2 USB ports.
