I bought a new desktop tower recently, loaded with Windows 8. After recent trouble loading drivers and software, I did a refresh which seemed to solve the issue, but it reoccurred this week, along with blue screen errors!
I tried another refresh but after doing it could not load sound drivers, so decided to try a reset.
Guess what, no I've got a brick!
I did the reset and on restarting, it locked into a auto repair / restart cycle.
Tried to load from the OEM disk and serial number, but I'm getting a message say the serial is wrong!
Waiting on the supplier coming back to me, but has anyone got any words of wisdom as to what I did wrong or what I can do?
