Windows 8 Power_Driver_State_Failure BSOD

My 4ish month old Dell laptop has been BSODing every now and then with Power_Driver_State_Failure and I'm not sure why.

Here's a link to DMP, MSINFO and specs:

If anyone could tell me what's going on that would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Pat

Several things cause this for me. I sometimes get this when I have too many peripherals connected into my USB ports, it get the same BSOD. I also notice when I have my iPhone charging off of one of the ports, I get this error message.

Last, I've noticed that it has to do with my Solid State Drive. I believe it has something to do with the drive going into a power save mode, and dumping... I haven't been able to isolate it because it happens so infrequently.

I am leaning towards this error message becoming more frequent with SSDs as they are highly dependent on consistent electricity... However, It's merely a theory. Try updating your SSD drivers and chipset drivers to see if it helps your issue. It could be a bad SSD as

This was related to your video driver.  There is a known problem with the Feb 5, 2015 driver on some PCI systems.  As a work around I would revert back to a much older driver (~9 months older)
