Windows 8 Photo Gallery error code 0x8007000b
The error message appears whenever I try to open the program. The program will not open, says it will not start. Is there a way to fix it?

Hi Laura,

Try to under Libraries right click each library(documents, music, pictures, videos) and choose delete. Then right click Libraries and choose "restore default libraries"

If you added additional paths to the library you will have to reconfigure the library.

Search on web for:"How to Restore the Default Libraries in Windows"

You're the man! I can't believe how easy the problem was resolved.  If it took all but 10 seconds I'd be surprised.  Too bad I didn't time it. Amazing.  Thanks

Federico

Most common cause of this application fail issue is corrupted Windows files. When some of the application files gets damaged or corrupted due to virus or wrong settings then error appears on the screen. Scanning windows files first and use reliable program to fix this.

THANK YOU!!!! I was so worried about all of my pictures!  This fixed everything and I didn't lose any pictures or videos.  You win the internet.  Btw, tech support from Microsoft immediately wanted me to give them $99 to fix this.

Thank you again!
