After 60 days of waiting, we received a Dell Latitude 10 tablet for testing. The device ships with Windows 8 Pro, which does not support DirectAccess, so I had to upgrade it to Windows 8 Enterprise. It does not appear that you can upgrade from Pro to Enterprise in the same way you can upgrade for 8 to Pro. Just type in a new key and it works.

I tried an in place upgrade in the hopes that it would carry over all the drivers. Unfortunately, two drivers reverted to "Unknown". When I attempt to upgrade the drivers, they are identified by Windows as "Intel UART DMA" and "Intel Low Power Subsystem DMA Controller".  They did show up properly under pro. When upgrading through Windows, the install always fails with an error indicating the drivers found were corrupt of for XP.

At Dell's recommendation, I install Enterprise from scratch on the tablet. Exact same problem. If it was just the unknown drivers, I might have put up with it. However, they are rather critical as I cannot maintain a wifi connection when it goes to sleep. Upon resume the wifi connection has to be broken and reestablished to use the connection. Also, when the tablet goes into deep sleep, the only way to wake it is to power cycle it.

If anyone has had a similar problem with the new Atom tablets I would appreciate the feedback.

 To fix this, install KB2756872 from Microsoft website.

If you have a Realtek audio driver installed you may need to uninstall it for this update to install correctly then reinstall it.

Unfortunately, whenever I searched the Microsoft download site for that KB article, it always returned the 64bit version and I couldn't find a link to the 32bit version. It did just show up in Windows Update on the tablet, so I was able to install it that way.

After install, all drivers were correctly identified and I believe it may have resolved my connectivity issues after resuming from a low power state.

I've have the same problem. Please can you more cleary explain how you solve it through Windows Update?

if you run windows update on the devise with the issue, after running it a few times it will download the required KB and install it.
