Windows 8 Ball_Pool_Caller Error!

My laptop won't come back out of sleep so I have to force a shutdown and on the odd occasion that it does come out of sleep it pops up the bad_pool_caller error.

That's my minidump, hopefully someone can help me!

Thanks!

The driver that appears to be causing the error is the HssDrv.sys:

BUCKET_ID:  0xc2_7_aPmI_HssDrv+2bac

The HssDrv.sys, which is dated Sep 2, 2010, is a Hotspot Shield driver.

Update, or if necessary, uninstall Hotspot Shield.

Hi,

The driver HssDrv.sys (Hotspotshield) is the cause. Please reinstall or remove it to check the result.

Also, check whether downgrade the driver would help refer to the following thread:
