In the DevCenter I work, we installed the W8 for testing our app. Since it comunicates with other webservices, using authentication, we use capicom.dll to authenticate the XML and all. (Application developed in Delphi).

We noticed some problens registering the Capicom.dll on windows 8.

On W7 system, we only copy to c:\windows\system32 and do a "regsvr32.exe capicom" at CMD, but on W8 we get an error message as follows:

"Maybe the module 'capicom' is not compatible with your windows version..."

There is any problem with capicom and W8, any other installation procedure or anything like that for it to work? maybe a new version of capicom?

According to the error message, this Module is not compatible with Windows 8. You need a new version that is compatible with Windows 8.

there is version of capicom.dll for windows 7 and its working in Windows 8.1
