When trying to save any file or add a web page to favorites, I get an error message which says: "The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

I took a screenshot, but can't save it, I get the same error when trying to save from Paint.

Please check if you can access %userprofile%\Favorites  folder.

It seems your system files are corrupted, please open command prompt with Admin, then type the following command.

dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
