Windows 8.1 not maping network shares from samba.

Hello all.

I have a Windows 8.1 machine not maping the shared directories from my Linux server.

The Linux server is using Samba to export the directories so they can be maped as network drives in windows or on other Linux machines.

I have multiple Windows 8.1 notebooks on the network that are able to login and map the drives just fines.

It seems the only machine having issues connecting is this one.

When logging in and trying to connect i get this error.

I have tried just about everything to fix this.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Matthew

Hi Tuxman47203,

I have checked this option in my own Windows 8.1 machine. If you haven`t got this option,we can manually create it to have a check .Please backup the registry keys before we made modifications to it.

Best regards
