I am not too sure if it IS in fact, Windows 8.1 doing this. But I just bought this computer, and had no problems leaving my game sit idle for long periods. Now when I log in, it disconnects me within 15 minutes, EVERY single time. Why is this happening? Any suggestions.

I am using Ethernet Cable, Not Wi-Fi.

Hi,

You mean your game was keeping network disconnect for  15 minutes but the Windows network working fine, isn't it?

We need to confirm your system screensaver settings, is it was enabled? How about system sleep configuration? 

During system idle period, will system goes into sleep mode? Please access Device Manager to check NIC power saver settings.

On the other hand, open Advanced settings in Power Options to check Allow wake timers status of sleep. Make sure it was enabled.
