Windows 8.1 fresh profile every logon

Hello,

How do I create a fresh profile everytime I  logon to a Windows 8.1 system. I have a Shared system that has One Local Account that is used for OutSide users when they visit. I need the Profile to be Clean everytime it is rebooted so I know previous users did not leave anything on Desktop.

Was able to create a GPO for our Windows 7 systems but thinking there is something different in Windows 8.

Hi,

According to your description, I think what you want is a Mandatory User Profile,it is a special type that administrators can use to specify settings for users. With mandatory user profiles, a user can modify his or her desktop, but the changes are not saved when the user logs off. The next time the user logs on, the mandatory user profile created by the administrator is reloaded.

The following article cna help you better understand the user profile (instruction for Windows 7 is similiar to Windows 8.1)

Thank you for your reply. Only question, this Local Profile does not have Network Access. Of course system is on Domain but uses use a Local Profile only.

I don't think I can use a Mandatory Profile if I use Local Profile, correct?
