Hello, all of my icons rearrange whenever I reboot. I am using windows 8.1. I dont know if theres some application thats not shutting down properly that is tweaking everything out whenever I restart. All the previous topics are for a previous operating systems, or just dont help at all.

This is getting pretty annoying, having to rearrange all my icons every time I start my computer. Any help is appreciated, just ask if you need me to specify anything else.

Auto arrange removed? 

I'm sorry, but I'm confused. Is there an answer somewhere in the reply above?

Just check whether the "Auto arrange" option is removed just like in the above image.. If autoarrange tick is on there is a possibility for such thing. 

Has this question ever been answered completely? I have "Auto arrange" option removed and my icons are being rearranged all the time, with or without the option "Align icons to grid."
