My windows 8.1 apps seem to work fine on the windows 10 I am testing on my Surface. Only problem I can see is 10 has no Charms and all my apps use it for privacy policy - as instructed to do - and Help files.

Does this mean I will have to add URL links somewhere else for them to be accepted for windows 10?

Hi,

Yes, they gone in Windows 10. You could access this function page, you click the Start button to display the new Start menu. Under Places, you click a link to the Settings screen, which incidentally sports a new look but offers the equivalent options and more.

Thank you, I will have a look at what you suggest. Think a couple of new URL button links will serve my purpose. Looking forward to studying exactly how to convert in due course.
