Windows 8.1 System Rebooted without shutting down Source: Kernel-Power Event ID: (41) Task Category : (63)

Lenovo IdeaPad Z710 8 GB RAM Windows 8.1 shuts down unexpectedly possibly after Blue Screen.  Occurred 19-March 2015, 19-April 2015 and twice yesterday 28-April 2015.

All indications are that this might be a power supply because I can't find any reference to the codes below.

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.

Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here If you have any questions about the procedure please ask

Hi,

We hope your issue has been resolved, if you've found solution by yourself. We would appreciate it if you could share with us and we will mark it as answer.

Since this event error only shows your computer shuts down unexpectedly. As menthined by MVP ZigZag we might need actual log file for troubleshooting.

Regards,

D. Wu
