Hi,

"Windows Resource Protection could not perform the requested operation"

To resolve this problem, perform the sfc scan in safe mode and make sure that the PendingDeletes and PendingRenames folders exist under %WinDir%\WinSxS\Temp

More information about SFC, you can refer to this link

http://support2.microsoft.com/kb/929833

Safe mode:

FWIW: similar problems experienced with Windows 10 Tech Preview with Build 10049 ... would get to 27% or less and quit.

However, sfc /scannow did finish with Build 10061 ... although the info in CBS.log was a "needle in a haystack" of 42,000+ lines.

I tried the solution on mine, still didn't work. The PendingDeletes and PendingRename folders were in the correct directory and I had used Safe Mode to launch command prompt. I'm trying to fix a bad image error related to WSOCK32.dll if that helps
