Windows 8.1 Pro Update June 9 2015 - causes Miracst Roku 2 to fail to connect

Following the update pushed out on June 9, 2015 to Windows 8.1 Pro users my pc would no longer connect to my Roku 2 via wireless (miracast). The Roku would detect my laptop trying to connect to it, but would ultimately disconnect prior to streaming video.

As a resolution I restored my system to immediately prior to the June 9, 2015 update and the problem was resolved.

I strongly believe that the windows update pushed out on June 9, 2015 will conflict with Miracast devices specifically the Roku 2.

I would suggest you to check this with Roku, in case they have newer drivers of a fix for this.

Hi,

I found that updates released on June are related to system files or IE, it may not conflict to your Roku.

But, if the related system files or dll, which was referred by Roku, were updated and may not support some function for Roku, please update your Roku or just hide this update as a workaround.
