Hey Guys,

Having a strange networking issue that seems to be only affecting some 3rd party applications. As soon as 8.1 preview was installed 3rd party applications such as google chrome / drive, Samsung allshare and more can not connect to the local network / to external gateways.

Google Chrome throws up "error 2" instantly, but strangely enough IE and other Microsoft programs are having no issues. 

I have tried reinstalling my Ethernet driver, several programs such as Chrome and reinstalling .net 3.5 framework but still havn't had any improvement.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions?
