Better forum for this problem is answers.microsoft.com
1. Restart your computer and go into Safe mode (via F8 boot menu). Look into event logs for errors and warnings.
2. Create new profile and test it in normal mode.
3. Whenever you have problems like this one, provide more information what you did, what you installed and configured.

Hi Zeekno,
When did the issue start to occur ?
Have you made any modifications to the machine or install any third party software before this issue ?
We can perform a clean boot to verify whether it is caused by the third party program during the booting up process.

We also can use the AutoRun tool to check for any unexpected autorun program.

I agree with Milos,we can create a new account and boot with it to verify whether it is caused by the specific account.
If this issue occurred recently,a system restore will be a easy and quick method to resolve the issue.
Please check the Event Viewer for related information to troubleshoot this issue.

Hi Zeekno,
We can try to get into Windows Recovery Mode to have a fix.
To get into recovery mode, restart the machine and keep pressing "Shift".
Choose "Troubleshoot","Advanced Options","System Restore"
Restore the machine to a previous normal point.
Best regards
I tried it and it didn't work. It's still freezing
Hi Zeekno,
I am afraid you need to refresh the machine if we can not login to operate the machine.Refreshing your PC reinstalls Windows and keeps your personal files and settings. It also keeps the apps that came with your PC and the apps you installed from the Windows
Store
