Is it just me that is disappointed that there does not seem to be an Enterprise preview?  I was really hoping to test multiple Laptops and Tablets with Windows 8.1 and DirectAccess.  The only download or upgrade I can find is for Pro.

How unfortunate that we can't fully test Windows 8.1 preview if we have standardized on DirectAccess 2012.

Thank you, I have seen this and have downloaded the .ISO file available through MSDN.  In Windows Store there is no update for Enterprise and in Volume licensing there is no .ISO file.  The .ISO file from MSDN is only Pro which does not contain DirectAccess as you know.

I wondering when they are going to release the Windows 8.1 Enterprise update.

I will keep checking today to see if the link you provided provides Enterprise .ISO files or if they show up on MSDN or Volume licensing.

you could install non VL Pro edition and test with that. It will join a domain.

While that is true we can't test DirectAccess. We will be testing Wifi and GPO's which were an issue with Win8.

Microsoft decided that this feature was exclusive to Windows Enterprise which in turn requires an SA agreement.  Maybe one day they will include this in the pro version like they just included BitLocker in the 8.1 version.  For now DirectAccess is limited to Windows 7/8/8.1 Enterprise.
