Good day thanks for your answer. But my problem is not about language localization on my windows 8.1. I'm currently using english language as my OS's laguage. My problem is that boxes appeared on my windows (replacing scroll arrows and other arrows of my windows)

I can't remember I did something that would cause the problem.

My system is attached, please look on it. But I don't think it's a factor to be considered.

My device drivers are updated.

reason behind this  (at the picture).

See if you are missing a font called Segoe UI Symbols.

Hi,

Based on my test, it is related to the following setting:

1.Open Control Panel>Region>Administrative.

2.Click Copy settings. Then check your setting about Display Language.

If the issue persists, I think we should uninstall your third-party Input software.

In addition, as Robert Aldwinckle, we also check the font issue.

Since the font appears to be present but yet still is not rendering correctly, I would suggest the next step be to run the System File Checker (SFC) utility to look for corruption or issues with the core system files. Open an Administrative Command Prompt by selecting Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu of administrative tools that arises when you right click the Start Button, then enter the following and press enter:

SFC /ScanNow
