Hello there,
Over the past 5 days I have had an issue with extremely high disk usage by a System process, leading to the file ntoskrnl.exe. I have defragged, run a cleanup, run a find and repair (as suggested by other users), and eventually just decided to upgrade hoping that would fix the issue, since it seemed to be an issue with 8.1 as I've seen on other forums. After all of these attempts, the issue has not been fixed. It looks to be something to do with this file reading/writing to things it shouldn't be doing that with, and it's pretty much making the laptop unusable. Please someone help out with this issue if you can, else I'll just have to try bringing in the laptop for someone else to look at and I really don't want to spend that money. Is there anything else I could do to fix this issue, since I haven't seen any real solution on any forum as of yet?
Thanks
