Windows 7 x64 NETLOGON 5719 error?
Hi, I have a new lab of computers running Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 x64. They were joined to the domain (Server 2008 R2 SP1) with no issues, but I have noticed only through looking at the event log just to see if things were OK, that everytime any of these clients reboot I get a 5719 NETLOGON error basically stating the domain is unavailable?? and another error that the client cannot see an NTP server? These are wired clients with gigabit adapters (Connected to 100MB switches no STP), on a seperate VLAN to to the DC's. The strange thing is i can logon to the DC's with no issues and Group Policy appears to be applying so it is like nothing is actually wrong apart from the error message itself... I have heavily googled this and found a slew of things (Seems 5719 is a relatively common error), but no definitive for Windows 7... There is an Microsoft KB which mentions XP, 200 and 2003 etc... I have turned off the firewall and disabled IPv6 and this has no effect, I have also tried setting the NIC to 100MB Full Duplex instead of auto detect, I have also set a static IP instead of DHCP to no avail. Does anyone have any ideas about this as I am worried if I do not resolve the error at some point in the future this is going to come back and bite me somewhere!
