Windows 7 wont boot up
My windows 7 wont boot up. I get a blue screen and any restore point I try to go to I get an error0x8000ffff. It wont let me in safe mode either. It was working fine until i downloaded an update today. So how do i fix this? I've tried everything and I can't reinstall windows because my computer did not come with a disk. Thanks Blue screen shows 0x0000007b

Hi, Could you boot into the Last Known Good Configuration? For your blue screen error code, please kindly refer to the following article: Error message when you start a Windows 7 or Windows Vista-based computer after you change the SATA mode of the boot drive: "STOP 0x0000007B INACCESSABLE_BOOT_DEVICE" If Windows 7 still cannot startup, a suggestion would be to contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Please be advised that contacting phone support will be a charged call. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;OfferProPhone#faq607 Hope it helps.
