Windows 7 won't connect to one specific connection
I recently purchased a toshiba laptop which has been working wonderfully. It comes with windows 7 home premium. The computer has a ridiculously easy time connecting to every wireless connection I've encountered, except for the one at my house! :'(. The internet works fine on several other computers, both with a wire and wireless. I've attempted to connect to the internet on the toshiba with both the wire and wireless; neither works. It will connect to the network, but have the little yellow exclamation mark saying that there is no internet access. I've been hunting all over for a solution, but it seems like most of them have to do with a computer not being able to connect at all, not just to one specific connection. Could it possibly be because all the other computers that connect to my home connection are a 32bit? I'd really appreciate any help I could get on the issue. -Alexander

Hi, First, make sure you have already enabled the DHCP for this computer, let the client obtain an IP address automatically. If not, please check the other computers’ network status, and manually type the IP address to have a test. For more information, please refer to the following link. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Change-TCP-IP-settings Meanwhile, you may also try to update your network adapter’s driver to latest version and change the MAC address have a test. Notes: Please do not set a same IP address with the other computers. Find out a free one and temporarily disable firewall and anti-virus software. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
