Hi, What is the symptom? Can you access the Internet? How do you dial-up a connection? Via virtual dial-up(PPPoE) or traditional Modem. I suspect the symptom is that you the Windows 7 can not recognize the network type, and display “no connection to Internet” in Network sharing Center. If so, I suggest to update the driver of the Network adapter or Modem to latest version, because the issue is almost caused by hardware driver not fully compatible with Windows 7. Also, please refer to the following link. http://www.sevenforums.com/network-sharing/21418-solution-unknown-network-no-connection-inter.html Thanks. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
