Hi Jimmy, try going into Device Manager and for your mouse, keyboard and network card, properties, power management, untick "Allow this device to wake up the computer". I hada sleep/hibernate issue whereby the PC immediately awoke after a suspendand this solved them for me. Can't think of any logical reason for the outlook event actually causing the wake-up, though.

Hi, You can also try the following steps: Step 1: Device Clean Boot ================= 1. Click Start, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Search bar and press Enter. 2. Expand "Sound, video and game controllers". 3. Right click on your sound card and then click "Properties. 4. In the dropdown menu of Device Usage, please choose "Do not use this device (disable)" and click OK. 5. Please use the same method to disable other dubious hardware such as: internal modem, network card and CD-R drive. Please note some devices such as video adapter are not available to be disabled. Then, please restart the computer to check if the system wakes up from Sleep Mode automatically. If this behavior persists, try Step 2. Step 2: Clear "Allow this device to wake computer" " option ================================================= 1. Click Start, type "cmd" (without quotation marks), right click on the "Cmd.exe" in the search result list and select "Run as administrator". 2. Type "powercfg devicequery wake_armed" (without quotation marks) in the open window and press Enter Key. Please do not copy this command directly and pay attention to typing it accurately. After a list of the devices configured to wake the computer is received, please go to Device Manager and find the devices shown on this list according to the following steps: 3. Click Start, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Start Search bar, and press Enter. 4. For example, expand "Networks adapters", double-click the network card, switch to "Power Management" tab, uncheck "Allow this device to wake computer" if this option is not grey. repeat the steps above to uncheck the "Allow this device to wake computer" option on other devices on the list, such as USB device, mouse and keyboard. 5. Reboot the computer and check this issue again. Vivian Xing - MSFT
