Windows 7 updates
I'm getting fed up with this problem that's been going on for months now. There are 2 updates that when I go to shutdown says are needed, they take ages to update then shutdown, only for them to be required as soon as I want to shut down again. I've tried
downloading all required updates whilst PC is still on and it will show as all updated/ no available updates, only for these 2 updates to pop up again when I want to shut down.
I have to do the Microsoft fix for update problems every time I shut off now, which is a pain, it says problems fixed, but the problem always comes back.
There must be a permanent fix I can find.
Please help (PS, I'm not amazingly technical, so any help will have to be suffiently dumbed down for me- sorry :-(

You can go to the Windows Update site, find the updates in question, right-click the line and select "Hide". The updates would show in the list of updates, and they will not be sent to your machine.
