Hi, I would like to suggest you update the BIOS and the hardware drivers for Windows 7 first. If it does not work, I also would like to suggest you test the issue in Clean Boot. You may also create a new user account to check the issue. What's the result?Arthur Li - MSFT

Have you tried System Restore (inside Safe Mode) to go back to a time before the problem started? If this was helpful, please vote. If it solves the issue, please click Propose as Answer. Thanks!

You can't possibly be serious? Thousands upon thousands of hardware configurations out there for which the hardware vendors are responsible for supplying drivers for and had ample time for testing (if they so desired). You gave very brief description of what you attempted to do to resolve the problem and want a magic instant cure. As the NFL panel on Monday Night Football would say - Come On Man :) You should always try to have time when installing a new operating system and doing proper research for drivers, running Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor on your system to see if there are any hardware/software issues and comparing your hardware to the Windows 7 hardware compatability list. If it worked in Safe Mode then that clearly indicates a driver issue. You will probably run into the same issue again even during the reinstall, but we wish you success once you have more time for us to help you with your problem.MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message.
