Windows 7 taskbar icons partially appear after using Media Player or Center
My taskbar icons partially disappear after playing a video using media player.http://2jvhqw.blu.livefilestore.com/y1pUTo_PmhHDM8KjKw-zehmRi1RduhDRx5VZM7-IqNS06g-HAsJFF_uJ63PugwZK7JXT0ZYZrTbyh3zubhBbXXQnBFgzXSamVTe/Capture.JPGI can bring up the taskbar properties dialog to bring them back.Recently after running Media Center all the taskbar icons disappeared but was able to get them back by displaying and applying taskbar properties. Its a Dell 220s with Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset for the video adapter.

Please let us know your system version first, if it is 32-bit. In my opinion, it's better to update your computer driver first, especially for the display card driver. You can get them from the Dell website according to your system version. I suggest you to run the folloing this command to registry the shell.dll file.regsvr32 /i shell32.dll In addition, you can test your isseu in a new theme according my search. Of course, you can test in a new account. Good luck! John
