Windows 7 screwed up from using C$ ?
Hi all, My boss has recently installed Windows 7 on his laptop. He needed to access some files on his Laptop from another computer on the network so he used the following command. \\computer IP\C$ and then logged into the computer. Well ever since he's done that, he can't get to any of his documents on his laptop without Windows 7 trying to used the following path Network>laptopIP>C$>Golf folder instead of using C>Golf folder. And it takes a really long time if he tries to open it that way too. Sometimes it locks up. What the heck is up with that??? Does anyone know??? Hopefully I have this in the right forum now.
