Windows 7 pre-order.
Ok, so I went to future-shop the other day and they had many things about Windows 7 pre-order, including their website saying pre-order Windows 7 now! So, before I pre-order the Windows 7, Ultimate version, I want to know if there is going to be any changes in the Real Version. Because there has been many talk of change in the real version from the RC from many websites. And thanks to Windows Vista, I cannot trust Microsoft unless I see all the details. So are there going to be any change or not? And also, will it be more compatible other the softwares that still arn't? And Finally, would it be better to buy the 64bit than the 32bit considering I do have 6gb of ram? But as the opearating systems before, 64bit seemed to have many compatibility issues. In the Windows 7 RC on the other hand there seems to be less.

You can keep an eye on the following website. Since the beta started this website has documented many of the changes to the next version, prior to that version being released.Engineering Windows 7As far as the compatibility issues are concerned, as you are aware, weare currently in the Release Candidate phase of the beta. Typically this is the phase when the beta is declared 'code complete' which allows the software and hardware manufacturers to complete their application/driver updates, knowing that there will not be any 'radical' changes to the base code of the OS.You will always have some manufacturers who will wait until just before the final release date before making their product updates available.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP
