Windows 7 pc won't boot up.
Hi, it is normal, that in Windows Recovery Environment are partition letters other than in windows. Try run from Windows 7 DVD recovery tools (such as system restore, etc). Also try boot into safe mode. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees, and confers no rights. I'm trying to use Recovery to start a Win7 pc. After hardware initialization, the cursor flashes in the upper right corner on a black screen. In recovery mode from the Windows 7 DVD, I see the Recovery partition is C:, and the OS partition is D: How can that be changed? It is on a Dell Inspiron pc. This happened one day after the warrenty expired.
