Windows 7 pc won't boot up.
Hi,
it is normal, that in Windows Recovery Environment are partition letters other than in windows.
Try run from Windows 7 DVD recovery tools (such as system restore, etc).
Also try boot into safe mode.

I'm trying to use Recovery to start a Win7 pc. After hardware initialization, the cursor flashes in the upper right corner on a black screen. In recovery mode from the Windows 7 DVD, I see the Recovery partition is C:, and the OS partition is D: How can
that be changed? It is on a Dell Inspiron pc. This happened one day after the warrenty expired.
