Windows 7 not showing mapped drives.
I added this Dword value and rebooted and we are still getting the one network drive letter H: to their personal network drive. Brother's and Sisters all Rise!

Mr Mike2, I found this on the internet somewhere I forget where but it worked for me . Group Policy Preference fails to map drive for local admins when UAC is enabled. To resolve this problem, please try to configure the EnableLinkedConnections registry value: 1. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box, and then press ENTER. 2. Locate and then right-click the following registry subkey: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System 3. Point to New, and then click DWORD Value. 4. Type EnableLinkedConnections, and then press ENTER. 5. Right-click EnableLinkedConnections, and then click Modify. 6. In the Value data box, type 1, and then click OK. 7. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer. HTH Skip.B

We have one computer that is connected to our school domain but not getting any mapped drives. It's a Dell Optiplec 330 - 2.20 gig Core 2 Duo processor, 2 gig ram & 149 gig hard drive. It only gets 1 out of 9 mapped drives. There was a problem with Symatnec Endpoint Protection 11.0.6200.704. The computer wasn't getting any virus definitions and we had changed Symatnec servers recently so I uninstalled it & reinstalled from the new Symatnec server so it is up to date. The computer wasn't getting the latest Windows & Office updates and I updated about 73 updates. I ran virus scans in safe mode using Malwarebytes, Superantispyware and the new Symantec EndPoint protection version and found no viruses yet the computer still isn't getting the mapped drives when the user logs in. Has anyone else seen this?Brother's and Sisters all Rise!

It might be a symantec endpoint protection 11.0 issue as we have an old client version to that is blocking her mapped drives. Symantec tech support suggested updating the client to 11.0.6300 where the computer is currently 11.0.6200.754. Brother's and Sisters all Rise!

They just come up automatically in a login script. I can map their drives manually in Windows Explorer. When this person's account logs into a different computer their 9 mapped drives come up automatically and in Terminal Services so its just an issue with this person's desktop computer.Brother's and Sisters all Rise!
