Windows 7 not printing to HP Photosmart wireless printer
Can't get Windows 7 to find my HP Photosmart 7200 wireless printer on my network. The printer is not connected or dedicated to any other Windows machine. My Macbook has no trouble finding it and printing.

Hi, Can you access the network machine from Windows 7 machine? To troubleshoot the issue, please perform the following steps. 1. Click “Devices and Printers”. 2. Click “Add a printer”. 3. Choose “Add a local printer” and click on “Create a new port”. 4. Select “Local Port” and click “Next”. 5. Type in "[\\computer name\printer name]" (without quotation marks) for the Port Name and click “OK”. Example: If the computer you wish to connect to is named ComputerA and the printer is called PrinterA then the path would be \\ComputerA\PrinterA 6. Please select a correct driver from the list. If the model is not listed, please click the “Windows Update” button. Wait for the process finishes and try to find the driver again. OK Novak must not have caught the wireless no computer bit. Same deal goes but here you go. you need the IP of the printer, you can get from the printer menu by printing out or get it from a working machine. go to control panel devices and priners, add printer, add a network, wireless or BT .... Hit stop and then "The printer I want is not listed"..then select "Add a printer using TCP, fill the IP address..the port name will autofill. If there are drivers for the printer in the MS driver store you can let it Auto Query and install..if not have the drivers ready. Edit: Of course this is all ASSUMING you have the network setup as home / work and that the firewall is allowing file / print sharing

consult the user guide for the printer. There is an option on the printer's menu which will display the ip and connection information for the printer.
