Windows 7 networking
Wired adapter unable to connect to network. No DHCP service. Blows straight through to my (sometimes) wireless, or more commonly to the DSL modem address. Unable to reset. When manually configured, reverts after 10 to 15 minutes. Makes any internet communication absolutely useless. Needs to be addressed.

All is well now. Problem was that Windows 7 did not play with Netgear FVS318 firewall/router. I replaced the FVS318 and all is well.Karl Brackmann
