Windows 7 network card problems
Hallo. Ive got some problems with Windows 7 on my computers. Both computers have 2 network cards installed. One card (on each computer) (100mbps) is configured to recieve an IP address from the DHCP service on my router The other card (1gbps) is configured with a static IP address in a different range. I can ping both static network cards (from each computer). I can navigate trough the folders on each computer over the gbps line. But... When I move data from one pc to another (over the gbps line) the whole connection collaps. (collaps right at the start, or later) I cant ping anymore, cant reach the computer anymore.. how weird. I never had problems with XP about this. Its only fixed when I disable and enable the gbps card on one of my computers, but then still its collaps after moving data. The computer from which ill move data, is working at full processor power 100%, and if I do nothing the system freezes. How is this possible? Im getting angry everytime. My Ip's: dhcp: 192.168.1.100-150/24 Static IP: 192.168.10.1 and 192.168.10.2 Hope someone got tips for me.

Fixed.Changed the metric of each card (also VMware cards) The I changed static IP address to 10.0.0. Forgot about the private address you may use at home.(10.0.0 & 172.16.0 & 192.168.0 )After all these changes it works fine now :)
