Windows 7 needs a directx compatability mode
I run windows 7 32-bit home premium. I love this release of windows it is truely is great. The Interface . navagation, and themes are awesome. The only thing that i noticed is that Windows 7 needs a directx compatability mode in addidtion to the operating system compatability mode. 64-bit versions need a 32 bit compatability mode. I am a gamer and there are older games that i enjoy and can't play anymore. It would encourage people to buy it even more a lot of users are gamers.

Which games fail to run? Have you installed all patches for the games? Is your graphic card driver up to date? have you installed the latest DirectX Runtime?"A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

Its just older games in general. Most of the problem is with opengl based games but also with some that use older directx. This post was more of a suggestion than a complaint.

If you want to play old games, install XP on a 2nd partition and play the game there."A programmer is just a tool which converts caffeine into code" CLIP- Stellvertreter http://www.winvistaside.de/

I do not like running a dual-boot configuration. As i said before this post was a suggestion not a complaint. As you see above i said its an awesome operating system.
